Job summary

TalentBurst is seeking an ICU Travel RN for the Rose Ambulatory HealthONE unit in Colorado for night shifts. The role involves care of sepsis, arrhythmias, and critical care patients in a Magnet-designated ICU with a 2:1 nurse to patient ratio (occasional 3:1 or 1:1 at high acuity).

You will float to telemetry and other HealthONE hospitals on a structured self-scheduling cycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience.
• Vasopressor IV drip titration skills.
• Care of Sepsis, arrhythmias and med/surg critical care patients.

Responsibilities

• Work every 3 weekends and one major winter holiday.
• Self-scheduling and float to Telemetry and other HealthONE hospitals.
• Provide care in a Magnet-designated ICU and respond to high-acuity patients.

Floor:

Day Shift 1 Charge Nurse with no patient assignment, 6-8 nurses

Patient Ratios 2:1 ICU standard nurse to patient ration, unless the pt is step down status then 3:1 or very high acuity, then 1:1

Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)

Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital ICU experience

Vasopressor IV drip titration, ventilator management

Care of Sepsis, arrhythmias, Med/Surg critical care patients

Required to work every 3 weekend, one major winter holiday, self-scheduling, float to Telemetry and other HealthONE hospitals

Small community hospital, patients are mostly elective, Magnet designated, Intensivist in ICU 24/7
