American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CCU Nights position in Washington state. A WA or compact RN license and at least 3 years of critical care experience are required.

The role features a 13-week night shift (1845-0715), direct patient care in CCU/ICU, and collaboration with the healthcare team to assess and implement care plans. Certifications in BLS and ACLS are required, and proof of right to work in the United States is necessary.

Qualifications

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 3 years of critical care experience in a hospital.
• Compact license holders must verify suicide training and demographic data via Nursys e-Notify.
• Proof of right to work in the United States required.

Responsabilités

• CCU/ICU nursing care in a hospital setting.
• 13-week night shift assignment, 1845-0715.
• Provide direct, individualized nursing care based on scientific nursing principles.
• Coordinate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Administer and record prescribed medications and report adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families on post-treatment care, diet, medication, and rehabilitation.
• Monitor hemodynamic data, cardiac rhythms, and life support equipment.
• Respond to life-saving situations per nursing protocols.
• Document all care information accurately and timely.

• Critical Care Unit (CCU/ICU) setting within a hospital
• 13-week night shift assignment, 1845-0715
• Provide direct, individualized nursing care based on scientific nursing principles to critically ill patients
• Consult and coordinate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Administer and record prescribed medications, reporting any adverse reactions according to policy
• Educate patients and families on post-treatment care, diet, medication, and rehabilitation
• Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data, cardiac rhythms, and specialized life support equipment
• Respond to life-saving situations and initiate corrective action based on nursing protocols
• Document all care information accurately and in a timely manner
