Job summary

American Traveler Staffing Professionals is seeking a Tele/Stepdown RN for a busy Level 1 trauma Emergency Department in Missouri. Requires at least 1 year of Tele, Stepdown, or ED experience and an active Missouri license. EPAI; BLS/ACLS/PALS mandatory; TNCC/ NIHSS required; trauma/high-acuity experience preferred.

Unit uses EPIC EMR; patient ratios commonly 4:1; no required on-call; weekend shifts may apply; facility accepts local candidates with rate adjustments within 50 miles.

Qualifications

• Active MO license or compact license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS required
• TNCC and NIHSS certification required
• Minimum 1 year in Tele, Stepdown, or ED
• Trauma/high-acuity experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across age groups using the nursing process
• Coordinate care with ancillary departments to optimize outcomes
• Maintain accountability and evaluate care provided by others
• Work within the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and facility policies
