Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Stepdown for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri. The role requires providing high-acuity patient care in a critical care step-down setting with night shifts and 12-hour shifts.

Qualified candidates will hold an RN license, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certification, and have at least 2 years in a step-down or high-acuity unit with bedside experience within the last 6 months.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license in applicable state(s).
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of hospital experience in a step-down or high-acuity medical-surgical setting.
• Recent bedside experience within the last 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-acuity patient care in a Step Down Unit during night shifts.
• Titrate vasopressors and sedation medications as needed.
• Manage complex patients and perform advanced procedures.
• Ensure safety and compliance with hospital protocols.
