American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Endoscopy travel assignment in Washington. Requires endo tech skills, conscious sedation experience, and WA license or compact license.

The role emphasizes bedside support, circulating duties, and recovery of sedated patients, with strict travel requirements and applicant references. Travel RN position includes comprehensive benefits and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Active WA RN license or compact license required.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• CCRN certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of specialty experience required.
• Endo tech experience required, including bedside procedure support, circulating, and sedation duties.
• Strong endo tech experience preferred.
• Prior travel nursing experience required.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Skilled in administering and monitoring conscious sedation.
• Skilled in post-procedure recovery of conscious sedation patients.
• One professional reference from a Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or Manager required, preferably within the last year.
• No felony convictions accepted.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Endoscopy department of a hospital setting.
• Day shift schedule, 4x9 hours, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Weekend call required on a rotating basis, with 24-hour shifts covering both Saturday and Sunday (0700-0700).
• May pick up additional call shifts if needed.
• Perform bedside endoscopy procedures, including circulating and sedating responsibilities.
• Administer, monitor, and manage recovery from conscious sedation.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of any facility within the health system.
• Local candidates are not accepted.
• Former staff must be separated from the facility or system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler.
• Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted, with none allowed during the first 2 weeks of the assignment.
• All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application.
• COVID vaccination required with no exemptions.
