Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced GI/Endoscopy RN with at least 2 years of recent specialty experience for a GI Lab position requiring holiday coverage.

Open to travel nurses in Georgia, offering 4x10hr day shifts (0630-1700) with on-week/weekend call and required holiday work, plus generous housing allowances and benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) required.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent GI/Endoscopy experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital GI Lab performing GI and pulmonary interventional procedures.
• Perform a wide range of GI and pulmonary interventional procedures in the GI Lab; include colonoscopies, EGD, ERCP, EBUS, and capsule endoscopy.
• Schedule is 4x10hr day shifts, Monday-Friday 0630-1700.
• Call required during the week and on weekends.
• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays and 1 minor holiday.
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered.
• Former perm staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break in service.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital GI Lab performing a wide range of GI and pulmonary interventional procedures
• Procedures include colonoscopies, EGD, bronchoscopies, feeding tube placement, ERCP, EBUS, GI bleeds, flex sig, foreign body retrieval, navigation bronch, variceal banding, Bravo manometry, and capsule endoscopy
• Schedule is 4x10hr day shifts, Monday-Friday 0630-1700
• Call required during the week and on weekends
• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve)
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
• Former perm staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break in service
