Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced GI/Endoscopy RN for an ambulatory endoscopy center role in Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will hold a PA or compact RN license, BSN, and GI/endoscopy experience, with BLS/ACLS certifications.

The position involves performing endoscopic procedures (colonoscopy/EGD) on a day-shift schedule (7:00 AM–3:30 PM) in an ambulatory setting. Travel acceptance, local pay variations, and required PA fingerprints are noted.

Qualifications

• Active PA or compact RN license required.
• BSN degree required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of GI/endoscopy specialty experience required.
• Experience starting peripheral IVs required.
• Ambulatory OR experience preferred.
• Colonoscopy and EGD experience preferred.
• Valid state license or certification required at time of consideration.
• Two valid professional references and copies of certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Ambulatory endoscopy center setting.
• Performs endoscopic procedures including colonoscopy and EGD.
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
• No float requirement.
• No on-call requirement.
• No weekend requirement.
• 13-week assignment length.
• Navy blue scrubs required.
• First-time travelers accepted.
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at a different pay rate.
• PA fingerprints required and must be completed within one week of contract signing.
• Pass/fail clinical exam required for clearance, with a maximum of three attempts allowed.
• Labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing.
