American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an RN for a GI/Endoscopy position in North Dakota. Requires a ND or compact RN license and at least 1 year of procedural experience.

The role operates in a Level 2 trauma GI/Endoscopy unit with a 4-day, 10-hour shift pattern and rotating weekend call. Epic, Provation, and Olympus equipment are used; candidates should be comfortable with scrubbing, circulating, and scope reprocessing duties.

Qualifications

• Active ND or compact RN license required.
• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in procedures required; advanced endoscopy experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required.
• BSN not required.

Responsibilities

• Acute care setting within a Level 2 trauma center GI/Endoscopy unit.
• Rotating 4-day, 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday.
• Weekend call required once every 2 months and weekday call once every 1-2 weeks.
• Weekend call only, with potential to work one holiday per year depending on staffing needs.
• May float into the pre and post area at the endo expansion, staffed entirely by endo personnel.
• Uses EPIC charting system.
• Uses Provation and Olympus equipment.
• Perform RN scrub duties including assisting with procedures at bedside, bedside cleaning, and specimen retrieval.
• Perform RN circulator duties including charting, documentation, specimen coordination, and care coordination.
• Perform scope reprocessing duties including cleaning scopes, using an AER, borescope, ATP testing, and leak testing.
• Responsible for patient transport
• Hospital-provided scrubs required
• Clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
• Does not accept local candidates with permanent addresses within 80 miles of the facility
• Candidates with prior employment at this health system must have an end date at least 6 months prior to submission
