Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for GI/Endoscopy in Augusta, GA. Requires ERCP experience and GA or compact RN license, plus BLS/ACLS and 1+ year of relevant experience. Roles include circulating, scrubbing, and sedation with Epic/Pyxis usage.

Position offers day shifts totaling 36 hours weekly, weekend calls, and travel-friendly benefits. Navy blue scrubs and specific RTO/holiday rules apply; first-time travelers welcomed.

Qualifications

• Active GA or compact RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• Must be able to perform pre/post, circulate, and tech roles
• ERCP including ERCP with Spy Glass, Bronchoscopy, EBUS, Colonoscopy, EGD, ION procedures
• Experience administering and monitoring conscious sedation
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Scrub experience preferred
• Prior charge experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Hospital-based Endoscopy unit caring for adult to geriatric patients
• 3 procedure rooms with 11 beds; average daily census 20
• 1:2 patient ratio
• Day shift: 2x10h and 2x8h shifts totaling 36 hours/week
• Uses Epic and Pyxis systems
• No floating required
• Weekend coverage 2-3 times per contract
• On-call one weekday per week and one weekend every 6 weeks
• Circulating and scrubbing for GI/Endoscopy; administer / monitor sedation
• Navy blue scrubs required
• RTO up to 7 days; blackout Spring Break dates
• Holiday coverage; major holidays listed; guidance on holiday RTO
• First-time travelers welcome; local candidates accepted at same rate
• Former Piedmont employees must be away from Piedmont facilities for one year before traveling
• Travelers previously canceled or DNR'd must complete assignment outside Piedmont before reapplying

• Responsibilities include circulating and scrubbing for GI/Endoscopy procedures and administering/monitoring conscious sedation
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Max 7 days RTO per contract, finalized at time of submission with no changes allowed after offer or during orientation week
• Blackout dates apply for RTO during Spring Break (April 4th-12th)
• Holiday coverage required; if 1-2 major holidays fall during the assignment no holiday RTO can be requested, and if 3 holidays fall during the assignment one holiday RTO request may be considered
• Major holidays include New Year's Eve/Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, and Christmas Eve/Day
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Former Piedmont perm, per diem, or FCSS employees must be away from all Piedmont facilities for one full year before applying as a traveler
• Travelers previously cancelled or DNR'd by a Piedmont facility must complete one assignment outside Piedmont before reapplying
