Job summary

Gentiva Hospice is seeking an RN Executive Director Specialist to join our leadership team. This role serves as the administrator on call and oversees operations across multiple sites in North Carolina and South Carolina, ensuring compliant, high-quality patient care.

You will lead staff, manage budgets with full P&L responsibility, drive clinical quality, and coach teams to meet patient-centered goals. Travel up to 100% is required to provide onsite leadership across the region.

Qualifications

• RN with current license in the state of residence.
• 3–5 years of leadership or management experience in hospice.
• Experience with Medicaid/Medicare regulations and reimbursement.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% regionally.
• Strong communication, decision-making, and time management skills.
• Proficient with technology and digital platforms.
• Professionalism and commitment to quality care.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Administrator on record for assigned hospice agencies.
• Oversee daily operations including staffing, compliance, and patient services.
• Drive clinical quality and ensure Medicare/State compliance.
• Lead, coach, and support hospice care teams to meet patient goals.
• Manage operational budgets with P&L responsibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders for smooth transitions.
• Travel up to 100% throughout the region for onsite leadership.
