The position is night-shift, 0.9 FTE, with 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30 and weekend rotations. Illinois RN license is mandatory, and two professional references are required for consideration.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license required; emergency or pending licenses not accepted.
• BSN required.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required through AHA.
• NIHSS and TNCC certifications preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• Level I Trauma Center experience required.
• Skills in respiratory care, ventilated patient care, medication administration, and continuous IV sedation.
• Triage experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care in a high-acuity Level I Trauma Center environment.
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30.
• 0.9 FTE position with weekend rotation.
• On-call one 6-hour shift within a 6-week schedule; respond within 1 hour of notification.
• 30-minute meal break; possible float between units or facilities within the health system.
