Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced ER Registered Nurse for a fast-paced emergency department in California. Active CA RN license and at least 1.5 years of ER experience are required, along with BLS/ACLS/PALS or ENPC and NIH certifications.

The role involves 3x12-hour day shifts (0900-1930) at the main facility with occasional floating to a satellite location. Cerner charting experience is preferred; orientation includes Cerner training before scheduling on-unit shifts.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license in-hand.
• Minimum 1.5 years of ER RN experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and NIH certifications.
• Current CPI, MAB, or AVADE certification with hands-on component.
• Must pass Advanced EKG Exam with 80%+ (two attempts).
• Two supervisor references updated within the last year from the last 2 years.
• Recent Nursys report required with submission.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Department setting.
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts 0900-1930.
• Based at main facility with occasional floating to a satellite location.
• Uses Cerner charting system; prior experience preferred.
• Orientation includes general orientation plus Cerner training (4 days total).
• Deliver emergency nursing care across varied patient acuities.
• Scrubs must be solid color with no patterns.
• Must live within a 1-hour drive of the facility.
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate.
• First-time travelers may be considered.
