American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring EPIC experience and CA licensure.
- Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital
- Evening shift, 12-hour shifts (1400-0230), 36 or 48 hours per week
- EPIC EMR experience required
- Active CA RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC), ACLS (AHA or ARC), PALS (AHA or ARC), and NRP (AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS)
- Minimum three years of recent ER experience, within the last three months
- BSN preferred
- Acute care facility experience preferred
- No prior adverse licensure actions permitted
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients, supervising and directing nursing staff and coordinating care across disciplines
- Collect and analyze patient data, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate outcomes
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure a safe and healing environment
- Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning
- Accepts local candidates at the same pay rate as travel candidates
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
- Required to receive all applicable vaccinations as a condition of employment
