Job summary
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week night shift assignment in Tomball, TX. Requires TNCC/ ENPC certifications and TX or compact RN license; 36 hours weekly (6 PM–6 AM) with 13 weeks length.

Responsibilities

- Provide bedside care in a high-acuity ED setting.

- Freestanding Emergency Department setting with 12 beds
- Staffed with 3 RNs plus 2 mid-shifters on day shift and 3 RNs on night shift
- Patient ratio of 4:1
- Uses standard ED equipment
- EMR system is Expanse
- Night shift schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
- Floating required to Main ED (Tomball) and Jersey Village locations
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, PALS, ENPC, and CPI/NICRSIS
- Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
- Expanse EMR experience required
- No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- US SSN and DOB required for consideration
- One professional reference required
- Perform triage, patient assessment and reassessment, IV starts, lab draws, and EKGs
- Will train for lab procedures specific to the facility
- Must adhere to ICARE Values and facility Code of Conduct
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
