Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Texas, requiring a TX or Compact license and Level 4 trauma center background.

The role features 12-hour night shifts 7pm-7am, every other weekend, and a 13-week assignment with EPIC EMR.

Qualifications

• Active TX or Compact RN license in hand.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC.
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience.
• BSN not required for this position.
• Two professional references: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility.
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Emergency Room (ER) of an acute care hospital with a Level 4 trauma designation.
• Night shift schedule, 7p-7a, with every other weekend required.
• 12-hour shifts for a 13-week assignment.
• Uses EPIC EMR system.
• Provide emergency nursing care within a Level 4 trauma center setting.
• 12 hours of orientation provided.
• Cancellation policy allows for 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.
• Candidates may not have been directly employed by any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility within the past year; PRN employment through outside staffing firms is acceptable.
