Requirements include active VT RN license or Compact, BLS/ACLS/PALS, TNCC, and minimum 2 years of ED hospital experience. Bachelor's degree preferred; travel experience and ED skills checklist within 1 year are required.

Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2+ years of ED experience and current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.

Assignment Details

• Shift: Nights, 3x12hrs
• Hours: 36 hrs/wk
• Start Date: Sep 28, 2026 (actual start date is typically 3-4 weeks from time the offer is received. Start dates are determined based on facility needs and credentialing requirements.)
• Length: 14 weeks
• Openings: 1
• Low: The facility has received few submissions so far. Be one of the first to apply — offer rates tend to be higher at this stage

• Hospital-based Emergency Department open 24/7, 365 days a year, serving approximately 14,000 patient visits annually
• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with a 36-hour guarantee per week
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required if scheduled/needed
• On-call requirements to be determined

Additional Information

• Responsible for screening patients upon arrival to determine severity and appropriate course of treatment

• No more than 5 days of RTO will be accepted and must be submitted at the time of profile submission; requests made after offer or during interview will not be approved
• Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
• Block scheduling and 48-hour guarantee are not available for this assignment

Pay

Pay range: $2,113 - $2,348 per week (the $2,348 weekly pay listed in this posting corresponds to the higher end of this range).

Weekly wage: $864 per week ($24.00 x 36 hours/wk = $864)

Weekly stipend: $1,484 per week (Lodging: $144.00 x 7 days = $1,008; Meals & Incidentals: $68.00 x 7 days = $476)

Assignment total (14 Weeks): $32,872

Annual equivalent (52 Weeks): $122,096
