American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Emergency Department position in Texas. The role requires an active TX or compact RN license and at least one year of ER experience. Night shift, 1:4 patient ratio, and travel-rate eligibility are noted.

All listed certifications (ACLS, BLS, ENPC, HWC, PALS, TNCC) are required. The facility is a Level III Trauma Center with high-capacity services and robust support for travelers.

Qualifications

• Active TX or compact RN license required.
• Minimum of 1 year ER experience required.

Responsibilities

• Level III Trauma Center ED with 19 ED beds and 9 FSED beds.
• Serves adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients.
• Patient ratio 1:4.
• Uses Meditech EHR system.
• Night shift 6:45 PM–6:45 AM.
• Every other weekend required.
• Call required as needed.
• Floating required as needed.
• Hospital is Level III Trauma Center with Level I NICU.
• Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI capability.
• Advanced Primary Stroke Care Center.
• Top 5% orthopedic outcomes nationally.
• Black scrubs; casual attire not acceptable.
• Candidates must live 60+ miles from facility for travel rate eligibility.
• Previous perm staff at LifePoint not permitted in last 12 months.
• Candidates must not be employed elsewhere full time.

• Joint Commission accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI capability
• Advanced Primary Stroke Care Center
• Recognized in the top 5% nationally for orthopedic outcomes
• Black scrubs required; casual attire not acceptable
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for travel rate
• Previous perm staff employment at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months is not permitted
• Candidates must not be employed elsewhere full time
