Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an experienced ER RN for a small critical access hospital in Hawaii, covering ER, acute, and LTC areas. Active HI RN license and at least two years of Emergency Department experience required.

RNs work 6x12-hour shifts totaling 72 hours in a two-week period, with every 3rd weekend off and holiday coverage. EMR is EPIC. Generous housing allowance, travel and licensure reimbursements, and non-taxed per diem are provided.

Qualifications

• Active HI RN license required by start of assignment.
• Minimum of two years of Emergency Department experience required.

Responsibilities

• Small critical access hospital with no separate units; RNs cover ER, acute, and LTC areas as needed
• If assigned to ER with no patients, RN provides backup support in acute and LTC areas
• If assigned to meds, RN passes medications and performs procedures for LTC and acute patients
• Facility is not latex-free
• Uses EPIC EMR
• Schedule of 6 x 12-hour shifts totaling 72 hours in a two-week period with every 3rd weekend off
• Holiday coverage required
• Must arrive on the Thursday before the start date to attend an employee health appointment the following Friday
• Do not accept a start date if unable to meet this arrival requirement
