Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an Emergency Department RN for night-shift work in Kentucky. Candidates must have 2 years of ED experience and a KY or compact RN license, with Epic EMR experience preferred.

You will work three 12-hour nights per week (6:45 PM–7:15 AM), totaling 36 hours, with every other weekend required. Start ASAP for 14 weeks, including travel and lodging stipends.

Qualifications

• Active KY or compact RN license.
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS.
• Minimum 2 years of acute care ED RN experience.
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective ED care in a fast-paced hospital environment.
• Perform patient assessments, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate clinical interventions.
• Coordinate patient and family education throughout treatment and at discharge.
• Mentor and precept staff while delegating tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel.
• Participate in quality, safety, and process improvement initiatives under a Practice Governance model.

The $2,182 weekly pay shown in this posting, along with related figures, corresponds to the higher end of this range. Weekly travel pay includes tax-free stipends per IRS guidelines. Weekly local pay is fully taxable and therefore lower due to additional employer-paid taxes and related costs.
