American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department assignment in Jacksonville, FL. The position requires ACLS, PALS, NIH certifications and night shifts.

The 13-week assignment includes 36 hours per week, with night shift hours 18:45–07:15 and every-other-weekend rotation. Local candidates may be considered with a radius-based rate; licensure and start-date verifications are required.

Qualifications

• Active FL or compact RN license required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• TNCC certification required, renewed every 4 years
• Ascension CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) certification required, 8-hour course renewed every 2 years
• Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department-Trauma unit
• 13-week assignment with 36 scheduled hours per week
• Night shift schedule from 18:45 to 07:15
• Every other weekend rotation required
• Holiday coverage required per department need
• Provide emergency and trauma nursing care within a hospital setting
• Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates at a reduced rate depending on distance from the facility
• Only one submission allowed per candidate system wide across Ascension facilities
• Candidates should discuss assignment extensions with management at least 45 days before the end date
