Novant Health is seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN for a temporary, contract, full-time night assignment at Hilton Head Medical Center. The position covers a 13–26 week contract with premium pay, 7 p.m.–7 a.m. shifts, and every-other-weekend staffing based on unit needs.

Primary assignment at Hilton Head Medical Center in Hilton Head, SC. You will deliver skilled Med/Surg care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and adapt to varying unit needs while supporting patients and families

Qualifications

• Must have a current unrestricted RN license in the State of South Carolina.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS required.

• Recognize changes in patient conditions and respond with clinical judgment.

Additional scheduling expectations

Contract & Scheduling Details: Assignments range from 13–26 weeks. Nurses may be required to work every other weekend based on unit needs and are expected to work 50% of holidays occurring during their contract period.

• Step into critical moments, using your Med/Surg nursing experience to assess patients, prioritize needs and deliver timely care.
• Recognize changes in patient conditions and respond with the clinical judgment and confidence that come from working in Med/Surg care.
• Use your clinical expertise to partner with a multi-disciplinary team to coordinate treatment and support patients through urgent and emergent situations.
• Bring consistency and adaptability to your assignment, supporting our Hilton Head Med/Surg departments.
• Be a steady presence for patients and families, delivering safe, compassionate care when they need it most.

What We're Looking For

Required

• Current unrestricted RN license in the State of South Carolina
• 2+ years recent Med/Surg RN Experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required

Preferred

• TNCC preferred

Additional

• Specialty certification and/or participation in professional nursing organizations encouraged
