Novant Health is seeking an experienced Progressive Care Unit nurse for a temporary, contract, full-time night assignment at Hilton Head Medical Center in Hilton Head, SC. Qualifications

• Current unrestricted RN license in the State of South Carolina.
• 2+ years recent Med/Surg RN Experience.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required.
• TNCC preferred
• Specialty certification and/or participation in professional nursing organizations encouraged

Responsibilities

• Step into critical moments, using your Progressive Care Unit nursing experience to assess patients, prioritize needs and deliver timely care.
• Recognize changes in patient conditions and respond with clinical judgment and confidence that come from working in Progressive Care Unit care.
• Use your clinical expertise to partner with a multi-disciplinary team to coordinate treatment and support patients through urgent and emergent situations.
• Bring consistency and adaptability to your assignment, supporting our Hilton Head Progressive Care Unit departments.
• Be a steady presence for patients and families, delivering safe, compassionate care when they need it most.

Additional scheduling expectations

Contract & Scheduling Details: Assignments range from 13–26 weeks. Nurses may be required to work every other weekend based on unit needs and are expected to work 50% of holidays occurring during their contract period.
