Job summary

American Traveler, LLC is hiring a Cath Lab RN for a Days position in Pontiac, MI. The role requires an active MI RN license and at least 2 years of cath lab experience. Candidates should maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Travel experience is preferred, and local travelers within a 35-mile radius may receive a reduced pay rate. Work in a Level II trauma hospital with on-call duties, a 6:30am–7pm shift pattern, and a benefits package including medical/dental/vision, 401(k), and CEU

Qualifications

• Active MI RN license required at time of submission.
• Compact license not accepted.
• Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience required.
• Previous travel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cath Lab/IR unit of a Level II trauma hospital.
• Adult-geriatric patient population.
• Uses Paragon EMR.
• Days shift with scheduled hours between 6:30am-7pm, in combinations of (5) 8's, (4) 10's, or (2) 8's with (2) 12's.
• On-call requirement of 7-11 days with one full weekend of coverage each month.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to maintain professional nursing practice standards.
• Follow medical center policies and regulatory guidelines in daily practice.
• Facility-provided procedural scrubs required; no outside clothing such as sweatshirts or long sleeve shirts allowed in the procedure room.
• Candidates within a 35-mile radius of the facility are considered local travelers and subject to a reduced pay rate.
• No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) permitted during the assignment.
