American Traveler is hiring an experienced EP/Cath Lab RN for a hospital-based role in Arkansas. Active AR or Compact RN licensure and at least 2 years EP experience required; dual Cath/EP experience is highly valued.

The position features a 13-week assignment with 4x10 hour day shifts (6:30 AM–5:00 PM). The RN will perform pre-, intra-, and post-procedural care for complex cardiac arrhythmia patients, collaborate with electrophysiologists, and may require on-call coverage after hours, weekends,

Qualifications

• Active Arkansas RN license or Compact license required.
• ADN or BSN degree required.
• Minimum 2 years of EP experience; dual Cath/EP valued.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Cerner charting experience preferred.
• Able to stand/walk and lift 50+ lbs; up to 8–12 hrs per shift.
• Must reside >50 miles from facility; local candidates not accepted.
• Travel experience preferred.

American Traveler is hiring an experienced EP/Cath Lab RN for a hospital-based role requiring active AR or Compact RN licensure and recent EP experience.

Requirements

• Active RN license in Arkansas or valid Compact/Multistate license required
• ADN or BSN required
• Minimum 2 years of recent EP experience required; dual Cath/EP experience highly valued
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Cerner charting experience preferred
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and twist up to or exceeding 8-12 hours per shift
• Occasional lifting of 50+ pounds of equipment and patient lifting assistance of 125+ pounds
• Ability to push wheelchairs exceeding 150 pounds with patient and equipment
• Must be able to respond quickly in emergency situations and manage high-stress scenarios
• Keen visual and auditory acuity for monitoring patient status and equipment alarms

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital Cath Lab/EP unit
• Scheduled Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri day shifts (4x10 hours, 6:30 AM-5:00 PM)
• 13-week assignment length
• Potential call-back requirements to be discussed with the director
• Performs pre-, intra-, and post-procedural care for complex cardiac arrhythmia patients
• Works closely with electrophysiologists and cardiology professionals
• May provide on-call coverage after hours, holidays, and weekends
• Position is designated safety sensitive under Arkansas Act 593 governing Medical Marijuana
• Facility conducts its own onsite drug screening, including marijuana testing, and a positive result results in automatic cancellation
• Candidates should avoid any substances, including CBD products, that could result in a positive drug screen
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Travel experience is highly preferred though not required
• Skilled in a wide range of cardiac, vascular, and electrophysiology procedures including PCI, TAVR, Watchman, and LAA closure
• Experience with procedural sedation, hemostasis devices, and vascular closure systems preferred
• Completion of facility training modules required prior to or on first day before patient care begins
