Qualifications

• Active RN license (CO or compact) currently in hand.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• ACLS, NRP, or PALS certification as appropriate for the unit or service.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the cardiac cath lab.
• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Epic charting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab of a hospital setting.
• Day shift schedule, five 8-hour shifts per week (40 hours/week).
• May float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications.
• May be required to take on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.
• Uses Epic for charting.
• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care, including health teaching and counseling.
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans and refer patients for further evaluation.
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
• Returning staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment.
• First-time travelers may be considered for this position.
