American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Cardiac Cath Lab assignment in Texas. The role requires a TX or compact RN license, BLS and ACLS, and at least 1 year of recent cath lab experience. Candidates living more than 50 miles from the facility are preferred.

The position features day shifts, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with rotating on-call including weekends, and offers housing and licensure reimbursements, travel support, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (TX or compact) required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiac Cath Lab experience required.
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration.
• No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days in the past year.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Cardiac Cath Lab with 3 Cath Labs, 1 EP Lab, and 1 Hybrid Lab.
• 1:1 patient ratios and a team including Charge RN, 3 Cath Lab RNs, and 3 CVTs.
• Use Meditech EMR for charting and documentation.
• Day shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with rotating on-call including weekends.
• Perform diagnostic procedures, PCI, Impella, angiography/angioplasty, electrophysiology studies, IABP, thrombectomy, and implants.

• Unit staffed with 1 Charge RN, 3 Cath Lab RNs, and 3 CVTs
• Uses Meditech EMR
• Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Rotating on-call required, including weekends
• Performs cardiac diagnostic procedures, PCI, Impella, peripheral vascular angiogram/angioplasty, and electrophysiology studies
• Additional procedures include IABP, thrombectomy, and implants
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
