Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab RN with at least 2 years of experience for a hospital Cath Lab/Hybrid suite assignment. Active Montana RN license or Compact license, BLS/ACLS required.

Responsibilities include working in a 4-bay Cath Lab plus 1 Hybrid room and handling a diverse patient population with advanced cardiac procedures. The role features a 7:00 AM–5:30 PM shift on a 10-day cycle (40 hours/week) with on-call requirements and travel/licensure support.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (Montana or Compact)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Cath Lab
• Experience with complex cath lab cases and meds titration
• Strong ACLS knowledge required

Responsibilities

• Work in a 4-bay Cath Lab plus 1 Hybrid room setting
• Average daily census of 15 patients
• Care for STEMI, MI, arrhythmias, device implants and related procedures
• Operate Cerner EMR, Alaris pumps, Omnicell, PACS, and Philips/Siemens equipment
• Shift 7:00 AM–5:30 PM on a 10-day cycle (40 hrs/week)
• On-call 1 weeknight per week and every 3rd weekend with 25-minute response

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab RN with at least 2 years of experience and ACLS certification for a hospital Cath Lab/Hybrid suite assignment.

Requirements

• Active RN license (Montana or Compact) currently in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Cath Lab specialty required
• Experience and proficiency with complex cath lab cases including moderate sedation, initiating and titrating drips, and circulating
• Strong ACLS knowledge required

Responsibilities

• Work in a 4-bay Cath Lab plus 1 Hybrid room setting
• Average daily census of 15 patients
• Patient population includes STEMI, MI, arrhythmias, LHC/RHC, PFO, CardioMEMS, CTOs, device implants, Micra/Aveir, TAVR, MitraClip/TriClip, Impella, and IABP cases
• Uses Cerner EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, Xper Philips PACS, Intellaspace IABP, Philips c-arm, and Siemens Zego for Hybrid room
• Shift schedule is 7A-5:30P on a 10-day cycle, 40 hours per week
• Weekend coverage limited to call rotation only
• On-call required, typically 1 weeknight per week (end of shift to following morning) and every 3rd weekend (end of shift to Monday morning), with a 25-minute response time
• On-call team consists of 2 RNs and 2 Techs
• Floating within specialty areas possible if trained and comfortable
• Schedule is built 4 weeks at a time and released 3-4 weeks prior to start
• Provide direct patient care for complex cardiac procedures including STEMI, structural heart interventions, and device implants
• Supported by a part-time transporter, scheduler, Charge RN, Lead Tech, 24/7 RT, Rapid Response/Code Team, on-call cardiologist, and unit manager/supervisor
• Orientation includes facility-wide NEO plus 1-2 weeks of unit-specific orientation
• Holiday coverage required for 50% of holidays per contract, call only
• Scrubs provided by facility and free parking available
• RTO requests must be approved through the unit manager
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
