Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Electrophysiology Lab position requiring 2+ years of experience and an active IL RN license.

Details

• Acute care setting within the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab
• Unit runs 2 procedure rooms with 5-10 procedures performed per day
• Department team includes 11 employees and 4 Electrophysiologists, with 5 techs and 6 RNs
• M-F department with rotating Saturday call from 8am-1pm
• Uses EPIC EMR

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• BLS certification (AHA) required
• BSN not required for this position
• Must produce a negative drug screen for all panels as OSF is a Drug-Free Campus

Additional Information

• Assist physicians with arteriograms and other specialized radiologic procedures under sterile technique
• Prepare examination areas, position patients, and operate complex radiology equipment
• Assist physicians by passing materials and taking exposures as directed
• Provide age-appropriate patient care
• 12 hours of non-billable orientation required, with guaranteed hours not applying during this time
• Local rate applies to clinicians with a permanent address within 50 miles of the facility
• No radius rule restricts eligibility for this position
• Facility call-off policy allows up to 12 hours every 13 weeks without penalty
