Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking an experienced Case Management RN for an acute hospital setting. The role requires a TN or compact RN license and at least 2 years of case management experience.

The position supports care coordination, discharge planning, utilization review, and authorizations, with a Monday–Friday day shift and no on-call duties. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Active TN or compact RN license required
• AHA BLS certification required (AHA certification is the only accepted form)
• Minimum of 2 years of Case Management experience required
• Experience with appeals and denials, DRG, and HIPAA guidelines preferred
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Acute hospital setting within the Case Management department
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (5x8 hours)
• No on-call responsibilities
• Patient ratio of 1:22
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Care coordination, discharge planning, utilization review, prior authorizations, and determining medical necessity per evidence-based guidelines
• Must reside 100 miles or more from the facility's service area; local candidates not accepted
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• General orientation begins on Sundays with online coursework
• Candidates must complete required testing and documentation within specified compliance deadlines prior to start
• Facial hair must be trimmed or removed to meet CDC fit testing guidelines
