Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an RN Case Manager with 5 years of RN experience and 3 years of case management experience for a hospital-based role covering inpatient units. The position emphasizes in-hospital roles with a day shift schedule and no weekend requirements.

Requirements include an active IL RN license, AHA certifications as needed, and strong references. Cerner EMR experience is preferred, with travel housing and licensure reimbursements offered as benefits.

Qualifications

• Active IL RN license required.
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience required.
• Minimum 3 years of case management experience required.
• 2 years of recent experience in the specialty required.
• 2 professional references from similar experience (1-2 years) required.
• AHA certifications as required for the position.

Responsibilities

• Covers all inpatient units, ED holds, and overflow units.
• Day shift schedule, Monday-Friday, 0800-1630.
• 10-hour shifts, 4 shifts per week.
• No weekends, major holidays, or call required.
• Floating within scope to other like units may be required.
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility with no exceptions.
• Guaranteed hours do not apply when the unit is closed for a holiday.
