American Traveler, LLC. seeks an RN Case Manager for a day-shift acute hospital assignment in Oregon. Requires an OR compact RN license, 2+ years of case management, a 1:25 patient ratio, and Epic EMR proficiency.

The role emphasizes care coordination, discharge planning, prior authorizations, and determining medical necessity per guidelines. Travel/float between sister facilities may be needed; holidays and housing options are part of the role, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Active OR compact RN license required at submission.
• Minimum of 2 years of case management experience.
• Caseload management and patient coordination experience.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• Case Management certification preferred.
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Acute hospital setting within the Case Management department.
• Caseload of approximately 20 patients.
• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
• Every other weekend required.
• Block scheduling required.
• Floating between units required.
• No on-call responsibilities.
• Care coordination, discharge planning, needs assessment, prior authorizations, and determining medical necessity per evidence-based guidelines.
• Familiarity with CMS, HIPAA, OSHA, and Joint Commission standards is valuable.
• Travelers may float between sister facilities near the contracted site.
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
• All time off requests must be submitted upfront; post-offer requests may not be accommodated.
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate.
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility unless applying as a local candidate.
• Former permanent employees may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period if they live more than 50 miles away.
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility, including permanent, travel, or per-diem roles.
