Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an RN for the Intermediate Care CV Unit in Colorado, focusing on stroke patients with NIHSS certification. The role requires licensed RN with CO or compact license and BLS/ACLS; ASN required, BSN preferred.

You will work 3x12hr day shifts from 07:00 to 19:30, with weekend rotations and no on-call duties. Epic EMR is used for documentation; you may be asked to float to other units within competency.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (single state or compact); CO license required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications (AHA) required and must not expire prior to start.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the CV/stroke specialty.
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care.
• Conduct health teaching and counseling for patients.
• Document care in accordance with hospital guidelines.
• May float to other departments within scope of competency.
• Holiday rotation coverage is required.
