Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 54-bed Cardiovascular Telemetry unit on a 13-week assignment in Michigan. Active MI RN license, BLS/ACLS/NIHSS, and 1 year telemetry experience are required. Cerner PowerChart experience is preferred.

The role includes 4x12 hour day shifts, patient ratios of 1:5-6, and required on-call coverage during holidays. The candidate will monitor patients, interpret dysrhythmias, and manage cardiac and vasoactive drips, with potential overflow patient

Qualifications

• Active MI RN license required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year telemetry nursing experience required.
• Cerner charting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• 13-week assignment on a 54-bed Cardiovascular Telemetry unit.
• Day shift schedule, 4x12 hours (0700-1930).
• Patient ratios typically 1:5-6, up to 1:7 during call-ins.
• Monitor patients via remote telemetry and on-unit monitoring; manage cardiac drips.
