Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Lone Tree, CO. You will work nights, 12-hour shifts, providing care for patients transitioning from ICU to medical-surgical units.

The role requires a year of Stepdown experience, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits accompany a dedicated clinical team.

Qualifications

• One year of recent Stepdown RN experience within acute care.
• Current RN license compliant with state regulations.
• BLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.
• ACLS certification (AHA/ARC) required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret telemetry, vital signs, and cardiac rhythms to detect abnormalities.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments with a focus on cardiac care.
• Assist physicians during cardiac procedures and examinations.
• Maintain patient safety and monitor telemetry patients for comfort and status.
• Document nursing history, assessments, and respond to changes in condition.
• Educate patients on cardiac health, risks, and lifestyle changes.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
