Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN.
- Current Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
Responsibilities
- Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data.
- Administers prescribed medications and treatments with focus on cardiac care.
- Prepares equipment and assists with cardiac-related procedures.
- Maintains patient comfort and safety in telemetry units.
- Documents nursing history and physical assessments for telemetry patients.
- Initiates patient education focused on cardiac health and lifestyle.
