Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Stepdown RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Louisville, KY. A Stepdown Registered Nurse provides care to patients transitioning from intensive care to medical-surgical units.
Qualifications
- One year of recent experience as a Stepdown RN
- Current valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
- Current ACLS Certification (AHA/ARC)
Responsibilities
- Monitors and interprets cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and telemetry data
- Administers medications and treatments per nursing standards
- Prepares equipment and assists physicians during cardiac procedures
- Maintains patient comfort, safety, and telemetry monitoring
- Documents patient status and notifies physicians of changes
- Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, patient-centered care
