Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an RN for a 26-week assignment in Pensacola, FL, focusing on the Cardiac Cath Lab. The traveler role requires circulating experience, active FL or compact RN license, BLS and ACLS, and at least 2 years in Cath Lab.

The unit has 4 procedure rooms with a 1:1 patient ratio and uses GE imaging. Shift is 4x10 hours, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, with call 6–8 shifts per month.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (FL or compact) is required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications must be current.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience.
• Circulating experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Cath Lab unit with multiple procedure rooms and a holding area.
• 1:1 patient ratio.
• Procedures include LHC, RHC, coronary intervention, PPM insertion, EP studies with ablation, Watchman, TAVR, and PFO closure.
• Call required; shift pattern and schedule details.
• Documentation in EMR systems.

Job description

American Traveler is hiring an RN - Cardiac Cath Lab traveler with circulating experience for a 26-week assignment in Pensacola, FL.

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab experience required
• Circulating experience required
• Sedation experience, atherectomy, IVUS, thrombectomy, and RCIS experience are a plus
• Scrubbing and monitoring experience welcome but not required
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• No employment gaps exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• Cath Lab unit with 4 procedure rooms and a holding area
• Staffed with 2 CV analysts, 10 RNs, and 6 RT scrubs
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Uses GE imaging equipment
• Documentation via Merge Hemodynamics and Meditech EMR
• 4x10-hour shifts, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Call required 6-8 shifts per month, including one weekend per month
• Floating not required
• Procedures performed include LHC, RHC, coronary intervention, PPM insertion, EP studies with ablation, Watchman, TAVR, and PFO closure
• Facility is the area's only Atrial Fibrillation Certified hospital and an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI
• Also recognized as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence and Advanced Primary Stroke Center
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered
