Job summary

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in South Carolina. The role requires an SC or compact RN license and prior cath lab experience, with BLS certification and 1 year of cath lab work.

US SSN and DOB are required for consideration. Responsibilities include performing procedures such as LHC, PCI, TAVR, PPM, Impella, and IABP in a hospital lab with 2 labs and about 10 daily cases.

Qualifications

• Active SC or compact RN license required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1 year of recent cath lab experience required.
• Advanced emergency medication knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Work in a hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab with 2 labs and approximately 10 cases daily.
• Perform and assist with procedures including LHC, PCI, TAVR, PPM, Impella, and IABP.
• Uses GE x-ray equipment and documentation via Maclab and Meditech systems.
• Day shift schedule from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
• On-call requirements include 7-9 call days monthly with at least one weekend.
• Scheduled to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff.
• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced cardiac cath lab setting.
• Scrubs are provided as part of the dress code.
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted.
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months.
