Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in New Hampshire. The role requires critical care experience, Impella and IABP proficiency, and independent drip titration skills.

The position features a day shift (7:00 AM–5:30 PM, Mon–Fri) with on-call duties and patient care for adults undergoing complex interventional procedures. Travel housing and licensure support may be offered.

Qualifications

• Active RN license (NH or compact)
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Critical care experience required
• Impella and IABP experience required
• Experience independently titrating drips required
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• No Canadian SSN accepted
• No gaps in work history of 90+ days within the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• Work in Cardiac Cath Lab with 3 labs, an in-patient holding area, and a radial lounge for out-patients
• Adult patient population
• Day shift 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, Mon–Fri
• On-call responsibilities via self-scheduling, ~1 weekday and 1 weekend per month
• Weekday on-call 4:30 PM–7:30 AM; weekend on-call 4:30 PM Fri–7:30 AM Mon
• Use equipment including OCT, IVUS, Shockwave, Impella, IABP, pacers, Rota, CSI, Opsens, CathWorks, Penumbra
• EMR systems Sunrise/Allscripts and Mac Lab
• No floating
• Procedures: left/right heart caths, drug studies, TAVR, TMVR, ASD/PFO closures, stents/angioplasty, atherectomy, thrombectomy, IABP, Impella, MitraClip, temp wires, pressure wires, VSD, CardioMEMS
• Provide direct nursing care to adults undergoing complex cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Work with cath lab techs and RNs, with unit manager oversight
• Candidates should be efficient, easy-going, and have a good sense of humor to fit unit culture
• Ceil blue scrubs provided by hospital
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius; local candidates not considered
