Job summary

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab RN for a 26-week assignment in Florida. The role requires Cath Lab experience and STEMI call coverage, with a 7:00 AM–5:30 PM schedule and on-site work at the facility.

Candidates must hold an active Florida RN license (compact allowed), BLS and ACLS, and have at least 2 years in Cath Lab settings including TAVR, PCI, Impella, and IABP. Travel housing allowance and per diem support are provided.

Qualifications

• Active FL RN license (or compact).
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience.
• Cath Lab skills include Structural Heart, IABP, Impella, IFR and FFR.
• PCI, PFO, Impella and IABP advanced skills preferred.
• US SSN and DOB required; two Florida references.
• No gaps in work history over 90 days in the past year.

Responsibilities

• Work in Cardiac Cath Lab with 7 holding beds.
• Perform procedures including TAVR, PFO closure, Atherectomy, PCI, R/LHC, Impella/IABP placements.
• Use GE Innova with MacLab and Meditech documentation.
• Monday–Friday schedule, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
• STEMI call required approx 10–12 days per month.
• Self-scheduling and floating within Cath Lab department.

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Cath Lab experience required including Structural Heart, IABP, Impella, IFR, and FFR skills
• PCI, PFO, Impella, and IABP advanced skills needed
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
• Two professional references required for Florida candidates
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab unit with 7 holding beds
• Performs procedures including TAVR, PFO closure, Atherectomy, PCI, R/LHC, Impella/IABP placement, implants, DCCV, and TEE
• Uses GE Innova and Impella equipment with MacLab and Meditech documentation systems
• Monday through Friday schedule, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• STEMI call required approximately 10 to 12 days per month
• Self-scheduling available
• Floating required within Cath Lab department including EP and Stress Lab
• Provide direct patient care for a wide range of cardiac catheterization procedures
• Surgical scrubs provided by the hospital
• Unit has received Daisy and Sunflower Awards for recognition
• Experienced staff support the department
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility, no local candidates accepted
