Job summary

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Technician with 2+ years of Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology experience for a STEMI-accepting facility.

The role offers a 13-week assignment in a multidisciplinary cardiac cath lab with 8-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, plus 24-hour STEMI on-call coverage and weekend call days. Relocation-friendly benefits and housing support are provided.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS (AHA) certification required
• RCIS or ARRT certification required
• Minimum 2 years Cath Lab/EP experience in a US hospital setting required
• Degree in related field (BA, BS, BSN, AA) or equivalent years of experience required
• Proficiency in scrub and monitoring duties utilizing catheterization equipment
• Experience operating radiology imaging equipment per prescribed procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
• Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities
• Ability to maintain confidentiality

Responsibilities

• 13-week assignment in a multidisciplinary cardiac cath lab
• 8-hour day shifts, Monday-Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• On-call requirement with 24-hour STEMI coverage
• Monthly call days ranging from 10-15, including 2 weekends
• Supports patients undergoing invasive diagnostic cardiac and vascular testing and interventional procedures
• Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
• Active license required, no pending licenses accepted
• First-time travelers may be considered
