13-week Neurology Respiratory Therapy travel assignment

Client in St. Louis, MO is looking for a Neurology Respiratory Therapist to help them out for 13 weeks.

Qualifications/Requirements

• One to three years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist preferred
• Other certifications may be required
• Critical thinking, service excellence, good interpersonal skills, ability to read and follow instructions, PC skills
• Physical abilities: ability to remain stationary, move equipment (50-100 lbs), push, pull, bend

Major job duties include:

• Communicating and collaborating with physicians and health team members
• Providing and coordinating patient care
• Monitoring patient responses and reporting outcomes
• Administering medications with documentation
• Monitoring patients before, during, and after procedures
• Sharing on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time
• Maintaining cleanliness and supplies
• Transporting patients as needed
• Performing other duties as assigned
