Job summary

Trinity Health Ann Arbor is seeking a part-time Respiratory Therapist for FirstChoiceRT mobile staffing. This role offers premium pay, flexible scheduling, and travel opportunities across the health system.

You may float across locations and shift types, supporting patient care while maintaining high standards and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include independent practice within your scope, collaboration with clinicians, and ongoing adaptation to diverse settings.

Qualifications

• Respiratory Therapist credential required and licensed where applicable.
• Graduate of a two-year accredited Respiratory Therapist program; Registry eligible.
• Current RRT credential.
• Valid State License in Respiratory Care if required in the state you are working.
• Interpersonal skills to communicate with patients, physicians and staff per mission and values.
• Analytical skills to identify patient needs.
• Demonstrated basic computer skills in a Windows environment.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout hospital and/or multiple locations/regions as needed.
• Adhere to professional practice standards per AARC guidelines.
• Act independently within scope of knowledge and experience.

What you will do:

• Qualified and willing to float throughout the hospital and/or throughout multiple hospital locations and/or regions
• Knows, understands, incorporates &demonstratesstandard elements of professional practice per AARC guidelines.
• Acts independently & appropriately within, scope of knowledge & experience in practice area
• Retains accountability for delegation, choices, decisions & outcomes
• Collaborateswith key stakeholders & contributes to quality & improvement practices & outcomes
• Exhibits agility & willingness to take on new & additional responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications:

• Respiratory Therapist
• Graduate of a two-year advanced practitioner -Accredited Respiratory Therapist program: Registry eligible.
• Current RRTcredential.
