Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level IV Trauma Center in Vernal, UT. 1-2+ years of experience and NBRC RRT certification are required, along with BLS, PALS, NRP and ACLS.

The role covers all ages and uses Medhost EHR, ventilators, BiPAPs, Vapotherm and infant CPAP equipment. Day shifts are 12 hours, 6 on/8 off, with every other weekend; no on-call or floating requirements.

Qualifications

• NBRC RRT certification required.
• 1–2+ years of clinical RT experience required.
• BLS, PALS, NRP and ACLS certifications required.
• License required if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy across all ages in a Level IV Trauma Center.
• Operate ventilators, BiPAPs, Vapotherm and infant nasal CPAP.
• Document care in Medhost EHR.
• Work day shifts: 12-hour shifts, 6 on/8 off, every other weekend.
• No call and no floating requirements.
• Treat asthma, COPD and neonatal care.
• Must be outgoing and fit the team culture.
• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Respiratory Therapy department at a 39-bed hospital
• Treats all age groups including geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients
• Common diagnoses include asthma, COPD, and premature infant care
• Uses ventilators, BiPAPs, Vapotherm, and infant nasal CPAP equipment
• Medhost EHR system
• Day shift schedule working 6 days on, 8 days off with 12-hour shifts
• Weekend hours included in weekly schedule, worked every other weekend
• No call requirements
• No floating requirements
• Provide respiratory therapy services across all age groups in a Level IV Trauma Center
• Facility is a designated Stroke Receiving Facility and Chest Pain Accredited with a 5-star CMS rating
• Must be outgoing and friendly to fit the team culture
• Navy blue scrubs required; street clothes not acceptable
• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be considered for the travel position
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
