Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT/RRT) for a night shift travel assignment in Powell, TN. The role requires 3-5+ years of ICU/ER experience and certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP.

A valid CRT/RRT is required and licensure may be required depending on the state. Responsibilities include providing general respiratory care in an ICU/ER setting on a 176-bed facility unit, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM schedule, and no floating or call requirements.

• Maintain Cerner EMR documentation and patient records
• Assure compliance with certifications and licensure requirements
• RTO requests must be less than one week

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience in general respiratory care
• ICU/ER experience required
• Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of start
• License required if applicable
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Responsibilities

• 176-bed facility respiratory therapy unit
• Patient ratio of 45:1
• General respiratory care in ICU/ER settings
• Night shift, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• 13-week assignment length
• No call requirements
• No floating required
• Block scheduling available upon request
• EMR system used is Cerner
• Provide general respiratory care to ICU and ER patients
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Holiday coverage required
• RTO requests must be less than one week
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Local candidates will not be considered
• Previous CHS perm staff employees are not eligible if employed within the past 2 years
