Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 2 years of experience for a night shift position at a short-term acute care facility.

Requirements include BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications; RRP preferred and TN license if applicable. Local candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius. 3x12 schedule; 19:00–07:00; travel assignment with housing and licensure reimbursements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• NRP certification preferred.
• Nursery experience preferred.
• TN or compact license required if applicable.
• First-time travelers not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Short-term acute care facility with 232 staffed beds.
• Night shift, 3x12 hour schedule from 19:00 to 07:00.
• Rotating weekend requirement.
• No on-call requirement.
• No floating required.
• No block scheduling accommodations.
• Uses Paragon charting system.
• Smoke-free campus.
• Tattoos below the neck permitted if not inappropriate and covered as needed.
• Earrings other than in ears must be removed.
• Flu/COVID declinations accepted on a case-by-case basis.
• Scrub color is provider's choice.
• Free parking available.
• RTO requests considered on a case-by-case basis.
