American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a night shift travel assignment in Maine. The role requires RRT certification and 2+ years of experience across ICU, ER and nursery settings.

Qualifications

• RRT certification and 2+ years of experience.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required.
• Experience in adult ICU, ER, nursery, and Med Surg settings.
• EPIC EMR experience.
• Experience with high-risk deliveries and resuscitation team.
• License required if applicable.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• RT floats to all areas of the hospital, treating patients from newborn to adult.
• Adult critical care, with NICU and PICU experience preferred.
• Attend high-risk C-sections and participate in resuscitation team in Level 1 nursery.
• Uses Drager V500 and Hamilton T-1 ventilators, V60 BiPAP, Airvo high-flow units, Neopuff, Ram cannula.
• EPIC EMR used for documentation.
• Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
• 36 guaranteed hours per week including weekends.
• Floats within a 25-mile radius between facilities as needed.
• No call requirements.
• 10-week assignment.
• Team player with strong communication skills and positive attitude.
• Any scrub color accepted.
• Candidates within 90 miles of MaineHealth facilities are local, affecting pay rate.
• Local travelers are not eligible for renewals or extensions.
• RTO should be kept to a minimum for a 13-week contract.
• Disclose if worked at any MaineHealth facility in past 12 months.
• Cell phones, laptops, and AirPods prohibited on unit.
