Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) with 1+ year of experience and WV licensure for a night shift at a Level 1 Trauma Center and major teaching hospital. The unit handles COPD, pneumonia, and critical care cases with Puritan Bennett and Nihon Kohden ventilators.

Responsibilities include ventilator management, airway procedures, and patient transport, with travel-friendly terms and a 3x12 hour night schedule. Must have state licensure and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications.

Qualifications

• RRT or CRT with WV license required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications required.
• Community hospital experience preferred.
• Cerner charting experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care across adult critical care, ED, and pediatric settings.
• Operate and monitor Puritan Bennett 840 and Nihon Kohden NKV-330 ventilators.
• Perform patient transport as needed.
• Ventilator management and airway procedures as part of care.
• Adhere to infection control and vaccination policies.
