American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) with 3+ years acute care experience for a night shift position at a critical access hospital. The role emphasizes ventilator management and care across ED, inpatient, and transport settings.

The candidate should have NBRC/CRT certification and BLS, NH RCP licensure (or willingness to apply), and may be travel-active or open to travel arrangements. Schedule includes 3x12-hour nights with no on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years current acute care experience required.
• High degree of proficiency with ventilators.
• Experience with HHN, BiPAP, and CPAP required.
• Active BLS certification (AHA).
• Active NBRC or CRT certification.

Responsibilities

• General respiratory care for a 25-bed critical access hospital.
• Support ED and inpatient care; transport to tertiary center as needed.
• Care for ED, inpatient, and transport settings; typical ratio 1:5 or 1:6.
• Night shift: 3×12-hour shifts, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM.
• 36 hours per week on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.
• No on-call requirements.
• Compact license accepted.
• Dress code: scrubs, no denim, closed-toe shoes, no fragrance.
• Travel experience preferred; first-time travelers may be considered.
