Responsibilities

• Inpatient respiratory therapy role at a Level 1 trauma facility.
• Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 7p-7:30a.
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required.
• 36 hours per week over a 13-week assignment.
• EPIC EMR experience required.
• Participation on Code Blue team.
• Critical care experience in MICU and SICU required.
• Provide respiratory care services within a Level 1 trauma hospital setting.
• Make clinical ventilator management decisions as part of a critical care team.
• Participate in Code Blue response team activities.
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are considered local.

• RRT certification required
• MA Respiratory Care license required (if applicable)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 5+ years of recent critical care experience in a Level 1 trauma facility
• Familiarity with lung protective ventilation strategies
• Ability to make ventilator management decisions based on patient assessment and lab results
• Level III NICU experience preferred
• Experience with Drager XL and V500 ventilators preferred
• NPS and/or ACCS certification preferred
